York by Car
Head out of York towards Harrogate on the A59. Approximately 15 miles outside of York the A59 crosses over the A1 on a large roundabout. Just before crossing the A1 turn right on to the A168 (signed Boroughbridge/Marton cum Grafton). If you miss the turning just go all the way round the roundabout so you can reach it!At the T-junction turn right towards Boroughbridge. Stay on the A168 which runs alongside the A1 and go straight over three roundabouts. Eventually Dishforth Airfield will appear on the right-hand side. Keep going until the next roundabout and take the third exit (signed Dishforth Village Only).Drive through the village (stick to the 30mph speed limit - this is a military village with military speed cameras. You can't see them and they always have film in them!)You pass two pubs on your right and a church on your left. The road will bear around to the right and shortly after turn sharply to the right on to Back Lane. Turn left here (you will actually feel like you've gone straight on!) The entrance to the site is about 200 metres on the right. If you reach the bowls club and tennis courts then you have gone too far.
Leeds by Car
Take the A64 (York Road) towards York. When it reaches the A1 take the northbound carriageway. Continue north on the A1 until junction 48. At the end of the slipway turn right at the roundabout and cross over the A1.Take the first exit at the next roundabout and follow this road which runs parallel to the A1. Go straight over two more roundabouts and eventually Dishforth Airfield will appear on the right-hand side. Keep going until the next roundabout and take the third exit (signed Dishforth Village Only).Drive through the village (stick to the 30mph speed limit - this is a military village with military speed cameras. You can't see them and they always have film in them!)You pass two pubs on your right and a church on your left. Harrogate by Car
Head towards Ripon on the A61. As you reach Ripon turn right at the first roundabout to remain on the A61. Go straight over three more roundabouts. At the next roundabout (Hutton Bank Roundabout - identified by a big Land Rover dealership) turn right towards Dishforth.After a few miles you will go over the A1. Turn right (second exit) at the roundabout. At the next roundabout.take the exit signed Dishforth Village Only. As you approach the village the speed limit drops to 30mph. Beware of unmarked military police speed cameras.You will pass Topcliffe Road on the left and then two pubs on the right (Crown Inn and Black Swan).Continue through the village. After you pass Lingham Lane on the left the road will turn sharply to the right and turn into Back Lane. At this point turn left (it will feel like going straight on!) The entrance to the site is on the right a couple of hundred metres down this road.If you get to the football pitch and tennis courts you have gone too far!
Ripon by Car
Young Guns Paintball® at RAF Dishforth is very easy to reach by bus. Located just outside of Dishforth Village the bus drops you about a ten minute walk from the site gates. The Black Swan and The Crown Inn. Keep the pubs on your right and walk through the Village the road will bear around to the right. Continue walking past Lingham Lane on the left.
